These 'rare earth' magnets are exceptionally strong. They are made from NdFeB (Neodymium Iron Boron), providing the highest available magnetic energy of any material. Suitable for a wide variety of applications where a very strong magnet is required. The nickel casing protects the magnets because the material is very brittle.
